Another anti-record! 921 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Ukraine

34 984 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of June 19. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"Another anti-record! 921 people fell ill over the past day, of which 64 children and 161 health workers", - he stated.

According to him, 19 deaths were recorded over the past day.

"In total, 34 984 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 2570 children and 5877 health workers. 16 033 people recovered and 985 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

The Minister noted that 19 365 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
