Commander of Prizrak Kostin convicted of banditry in "LNR" might be buried in "Walk of Fame"

Ex-deputy commander of the terrorist Prizrak Brigade Alexander Kostin will be buried in Dovzhansk (the city of Sverdlovsk before the decommunization - OstroV) in the occupied part of Luhansk oblast on Tuesday. This was reported by leader of the so-called "Lugansk Guard" social movement Anastasia Piaterikova on her Facebook.

"The terrible news came to us about the untimely death of Alexander Kostin, - the "August" battalion commander… The family decided to organize a funeral in Sverdlovsk", - she reported.

"August" had two small daughters and a little grandson, whom he never saw", - she lamented.

According to Piaterikova, the pro-Russian fighters offered to bury Alexander Kostin, who was convicted (even by the fake court of the "LNR") for banditry and murder of civilians, on the so-called "Walk of Fame" in occupied Luhansk.

As previously reported, information that ex-deputy commander of the terrorist Prizrak Brigade Alexander Kostin ("August") was killed in a pre-trial detention center in occupied Luhansk appeared on Sunday. In February 2020, the "LNR" fake court sentenced deputy commander of the terrorist Prizrak Brigade Alexander Kostin ("August") to 14 years in prison for "serious crimes, including murder and infliction of grave bodily injuries, including to a woman and a child, grand robbery and hijacking of means of transport". Being the member of a gang of militants under the leadership of the Prizrak commander Aleksey Mozgovoy, he shot a car in which a family of the Luhansk businessman Burykin was and looted property belonging to the victims of the attack. The head of the family and his wife were killed and their daughter was seriously injured.
