"DNR" reports that military medics are ready to save wounded on line of "military contact"

Against the background of statements about putting the troops on high alert, occupation authorities of the "DNR" told about the complete mobilization of military doctors to provide assistance to the wounded militants and civilians on the contact line. This is said in the report of representative of the "people's militia" (self-designation of the illegal armed formation of the "DNR" - OstroV) Eduard Basurin.

"The "people's militia" units have been put on high alert. As part of these measures, medical units and institutions… were 100 percent understaffed with necessary equipment and medicines", - he reported.

According to him, "all the standard equipment is in good working order, the medical staff is trained… to provide qualified assistance not only to the military personnel, but also to the civilians in case of escalation of the situation along the contact line".

As previously reported, the possibility of escalation of the situation on the front line arose after statements by the "DNR/LNR" leaders on bringing the occupation forces to the highest level of combat readiness and the intention to "move the line of contact".
