19 706 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 21. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"476 people fell ill over the past day, of which 29 children and 76 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 15 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 19 706 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1405 children and 3833 health workers. 6227 people recovered and 576 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 9361 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
