16 847 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 14. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"422 people fell ill over the past day, of which 42 children and 70 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 17 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 16 847 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1172 children and 3278 health workers. 4143 people recovered and 456 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 8069 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
