13 691 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 7. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"507 people fell ill over the past day, of which 28 children and 109 health workers", - he stated.

According to him, 13 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.

"In total, 13 691 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 933 children and 2 660 health workers. 2396 people recovered and 340 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.

The Minister noted that 7018 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
