12 697 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 5. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"366 people fell ill over the past day, of which 26 children and 92 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 13 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 12 697 people fell ill during the pandemic, 1875 people recovered and 316 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 5307 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
