Ministry of Health promises that shops and hairdressing saloons will work from May 11 in Ukraine

Shops and hairdressing saloons will be opened in Ukraine starting May 11. This was announced by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"As for the opening of stores, the quarantine weakening for small businesses, we are going to do all this from May 11. It will concern stores, hairdressing saloons and other household stuffs that we are used to use", - he stated.

As previously reported, 10406 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were confirmed in Ukraine as of April 30; 261 people died, 1238 - recovered.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced an emergency situation throughout Ukraine and extended quarantine until May 11.

The government authorized the operation of food markets in Ukraine since May 1.
