Occupation authorities in CADO recognize first lethal case because of COVID-19

Occupation authorities in CADO have recognized the first lethal case due to coronavirus infection, - separatist media report.

"A 60-year-old patient was admitted to a healthcare institution in critical condition with an initial diagnosis of pneumonia. During the treatment, biomaterial was taken for testing for coronavirus infection, unfortunately, the patient could not be saved", - the so-called "Ministry of Health of the DNR", operating in the occupied part of Donetsk oblast, noted.

It was also reported that according to the data as of the evening of April 22, already 67 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the "republic". Thus, the incidence of COVID-19 in the "DNR" almost doubled over a day: there were 36 patients in the morning of April 22.
