More than 6 thousand laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of April 21. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
So, as of the Tuesday morning, 6125 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded, of which 161 were fatal, 367 patients recovered.
"415 people fell ill over the past day, including 25 children and 64 health workers. In total, 6125 people fell ill during the pandemic, of which 399 children and 1138 health workers, 367 recovered, 161 died", - the minister reported.
According to him, 3710 studies were done by the PCR method over the past day.
