The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has voted for "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Turnover of Agricultural Land" No.2178-10 after midnight on March 31.
The bill was supported by 259 people's deputies.
As the Verkhovna Rada's website notes, the deputies completed consideration of the amendments at 0 h 29 min on March 31. None of the amendments to the bill that were considered at an extraordinary session was supported.
In the course of discussion of the amendments, the opponents of the bill emphasized that they would achieve the cancellation of adoption of the bill in the Constitutional Court.
After that, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk confirmed some of the changes that their authors insisted on.
Then the deputies held the final vote, and supported the bill in the second reading and as a whole with 259 votes to the applause of President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Servant of the People faction.
