"One hundred percent my man". Zelensky claims that he has nothing to do with dismissal of Prosecutor General Riaboshapka

President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the question of the possible resignation of Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka is not decided by him, but by people's deputies. He said this to journalists during a working trip to the Poltava region, - Ukrinform reports.

"Riaboshapka is not a question for me. The deputies are working there", - Zelensky said.

In a conversation with the U.S. President Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky assured his American counterpart that Attorney General Ruslan Riaboshapka is "one hundred percent my man".

As previously reported, the Verkhovna Rada will convene for an extraordinary session on March 5 at 18:30 to consider the draft resolution on expressing distrust of Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka. The day before, the Verkhovna Rada registered draft resolution No.3154 on expressing distrust of Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka. The project was signed by more than 100 deputies, including from the Servant of the People faction.
