An elderly man died at the Marinka entry-exit checkpoint in the morning of February 24. This was reported from the spot by monitors of the Right to Protection Charity Fund.

It is noted that the 80-year-old man and his wife were traveling from the occupied Makiivka to Dnipro.

"The pensioner felt bad being in the car that drove the spouses from the "zero" checkpoint. He lost consciousness at the passport control. (PUI) Première Urgence Internationale doctors immediately began to provide him first aid. They carried out 25 minutes cardiopulmonary resuscitation together with the emergency doctors from Marinka", - the report said.

It was not possible to save the man. Medical workers were forced to attest the pensioner's death at 11:40.
