Separatist propaganda spreads the information that Assistant to the President of Russia Vladislav Surkov will remain the curator of hybrid war in the Ukrainian Donbass. The first to express this idea was Russian journalist Semyon Pegov, who actively supports the "DNR/LNR".

"There is an opinion that the Presidential Administration decided to finally separate the concepts of "Ukraine" and "Donbass". And that Kozak will deal with the direction of Ukraine, as was recently announced by Peskov. It is about finance, business and economics. But Surkov will continue to oversee the Donbass (the "DNR" and "LNR" - as a project). Apparently, now from the Security Council (also part of the PA structure). How this will be expressed purely formally is currently being discussed. But the project (our – OstroV) may confirm for sure that no turbulence occurred for the Donbass republics", - he wrote in the created WarGonzo Telegram-channel.

In addition, Pegov assures, "Surkovˈs project, which is being led by Borodai (the Union of Donbass Volunteers, which has been gaining weight as an independent force for several years in a row) is not going to be turned off either".

"Thus, the Donbass is gaining a special status in the Russian political environment. It is de facto not Ukraine anymore, but also not quite a domestic policy", - the Russian propagandist summarizes.

Insides of Semyon Pegov were catched up by ardent apologist of Novorossia Roman Manekin. Nezygar Telegram-channel reports that Surkov’s resignation has not been accepted. Kozak will be in charge of Ukraineˈs relations as a whole, and Surkov will retain purely Donetsk issues", - he attributes the source of information to the Nezygar channel, which is popular in Telegram. (It was not possible to find this message on the channel specified by Manekin – OstroV).

And finally, creator of the terrorist Vostok Battalion Alexander Khodakovsky joined in the spreading of information about the preservation of influence of Vladislav Surkov on the development of situation in the Donbass.

"There will be no meeting in the Normandy format this spring – there is nothing to talk about. The Minsk negotiating platform also does not give anything productive after the exchange of prisoners, but there is good news: Kozak will be responsible for Ukraine, and Surkov will be responsible for us. Such a division testifies to the recognition of the established order of things - we cannot be considered as a whole with Ukraine", - the field commander writes.

"I think that now the management process (of the occupied territories – OstroV) will be simplified: instead of long preparations for the Normandy meetings and regular flights to Minsk, two respected people will intersect somewhere on the landing of a common building on the Old Square, make small talk - one on behalf of the "DNR", the other on behalf of Ukraine, and everyone will go in his own direction. Is it convenient? No doubt. The performance may even increase", - the militant predicts.
