In his new post of deputy head of the presidential administration of Russia, Dmitry Kozak will deal, in particular, with relations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. This was announced to reporters by press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, - TASS reports.

"I can say that Kozak is engaged and will continue to deal with Ukrainian affairs in his new position", - Peskov said. He added that "the exact wording will be fixed in the distribution of responsibilities, which have not yet been formalized".

In addition, according to him, Kozak's powers will include issues of Russia's participation in various integration processes.

"Russia has many integration processes in which it participates, and very successfully", - the Kremlin representative added, answering the question about what kind of integration is being discussed.

Peskov negatively answered the question of whether the letter of resignation of assistant to the head of state Vladislav Surkov, who had previously overseen the Ukrainian topic in the Kremlin, was signed: "No, we did not announce it". He once again confirmed that Kozak would now be curator of this topic.
