Russia holds nearly 90 people behind bars on "Crimean affairs" - human rights activist

Russia holds at least 89 people in custody just on the so-called "Crimean affairs". This was reported by chairman of the Crimean human rights group Olha Skrypnyk in a comment to UATV.

According to her, both Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians are among the prisoners.

"At least 65 people, mostly Crimean Tatars, are being held on the so-called "Hizb ut-Tahrir case", they are accused of terrorism. Speaking about Ukrainians, for example, activist Oleh Prykhodko, who was detained this year, is among them. There are also the so-called "Ukrainian saboteurs", - she specified.
