Citizen Nikonorova is outraged on behalf of non-existent "republics" by U.S. attempts to end war in Donbass

Calling herself "DNR Foreign Minister" Natalia Nikonorova is outraged by the fact that the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine William Taylor proposes to seek compromises to end the war in the Donbass. The opinion of the fake "minister" was published by separatist media.

"Taylor stated earlier today that he considered it appropriate to introduce peacekeeping forces in Donbass under the auspices of the UN. This, he said, would be an "intermediate step" before regaining full control of Kyiv over the region, including border with the Russian Federation", - Nikonorova resents, accusing the diplomat of incompetence and ignorance.

"We find it frankly outrageous that Mr. Taylor was still unable to properly read the text of the Set of Measures. Otherwise, the chargé d’affaire would have known for sure that the restoration of the border control is possible only after a comprehensive political settlement, and not according to "some compromise", - she states.

Ukraine has a choice – either to fulfill its obligations for the Set of Measures meticulously, without evading and in agreement with the "republics" (which are not mentioned in the Minsk agreements - OstroV), or to officially recognize the inability to implement international legal documents", - Nikonorova continues.

Moreover, the "minister" dissembles that it is Russia and the "DNR/LNR" puppet authorities appointed by it that do not comply with the main provisions of the protocol signed in Minsk on September 5, 2014. In particular, the Minsk Protocol provides for an immediate bilateral cessation of the use of weapons, permanent monitoring on the Ukrainian-Russian state border and verification by the OSCE with the creation of security zone in the border regions of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, removal of illegal armed formations, military equipment, as well as militants and mercenaries from the territory of Ukraine. Instead, Russia supports the occupation authorities of Donbass with weapons, ammunition, military equipment and personnel on a permanent basis. Russia also categorically opposes monitoring of Ukraine's uncontrolled section of the state border through which columns of military equipment regularly come to occupied Donbass and Ukrainian coal, products of Ukrainian metallurgical plants and so on are being exported from CADLO.

Regarding the Minsk agreements, first of all, they provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "areas with a special order of local self-government". Under all the documents signed in Minsk, there are signatures, including of puppet leaders of the occupied Donbass. Such concepts like the "DNR/LNR", as well as the names of any positions of "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
