The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation sent the 96th batch of the so-called "humanitarian aid" to the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The occupiers note that more than 110 tons of "humanitarian supplies", including "medicines and New Year gifts", will be delivered to the "residents of Donbass". Later, the "DNR/LNR" occupation authorities confirmed that a convoy with cargo from Russia arrived in occupied Luhansk and Donetsk. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross will be able to gain access to the occupied territory of Donbass this week for the first time. This was announced by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko. The Red Cross admission to the occupied part of Donbass was agreed at the Normandy format meeting in Paris on December 9. Earlier, the militants refused access to the Red Cross to the occupied territory.

A pensioner from occupied Khartsyzsk died at an entry/exit checkpoint in the militant-controlled Horlivka. This was stated by the so-called "head of administration" of occupied Horlivka Ivan Prykhodko in social networks. "A resident of Khartsyzsk born in 1950 died at the Horlivka checkpoint before the arrival of ambulance", - Prykhodko wrote. He did not provide other details.
