ADRA to help to improve access to essential services for population in buffer zone of Donetsk region

The ADRA charitable foundation is launching the project to improve access to essential services for the residents of settlements located in the buffer zone of the Donetsk oblast since December 1. This is reported by ADRA Ukraine.

The project "Inclusive access to psychosocial support, protection and drinking water supply for people affected by the conflict in the East of Ukraine/on the demarcation line" will cover settlements along the demarcation line in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

The project implementation period is 1 year. Its purpose is to provide emergency assistance and access to high-quality essential services for the population who need help.

The project will be implemented in the following areas:

- provision of drinking water;

- psychosocial assistance to the population;

- social transport (free buses for people living in the most remote settlements);

- legal advisory services.

The project is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
