According to the leaders of the separatists, "integration with Russia is consistent with the Minsk agreements and the republics will come closer to Moscow, regardless of the desire of Kyiv and Western countries".

Earlier, similarly to the so-called "people's council", the "DNR" defined the "state border" of the self-proclaimed "republic" within the entire Donetsk oblast at the time the conflict began in 2014. "The law on the state border adopted in the DNR secures the will of residents of the Donetsk oblast. A similar law will come into force in the Luhansk oblast in the near future", - the leader of the "LNR" stated.
Leader of the so-called "DNR" Denis Pushilin rejected the proposal of the Ukrainian authorities to include migrants who had left for the Ukraine-controlled territory in the negotiation group to resolve the conflict in the Donbass. According to Pushilin, he does not consider people whose opinions deserve to be heard those who, not wanting to live under the Russian occupation, left for free territories of Ukraine. According to him, all internally displaced persons are "escaped oligarchs". The Luhanskvoda enterprise, controlled by the "LNR" militants, cut off the water supply to a number of settlements in the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast due to work on the water pipe near Karpaty village, separatist media reported. The centralized water supply to the cities of Zorynsk, Artemivsk, Perevalsk and Zymohiria, as well as to the settlements of Rodakove, Lotykove, Novodachne and Zamostia, was suspended. "As for the cities of Antratsyt, Petrovske and Krasnyi Luch, the shortage of water from the daily volume in these areas will be about 50%", - it was reported.
