Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danylov has stated that there was no capitulation scenario among the scenarios of reintegration of the occupied Donbass, approved at the meeting with the president in preparation for the Normandy format meeting. This was reported by the NSDC press service.

"There is no scenario of capitulation, which some political leaders declare about. There can be no talk of this at all. The President of Ukraine set the task for us from a clear understanding of how we can end this war", - Oleksiy Danylov confirms.

According to the NSDC Secretary, priorities that Ukraine will uphold during negotiations with the Normandy Four leaders, were laid out at a meeting with President Zelensky.

In particular, according to the NSDC Secretary, this refers to the release of prisoners in the all to all format, the withdrawal of illegal armed formations from the occupied territories, the possibility of local elections in the Donbass under Ukrainian law and the transfer of the Russian-Ukrainian border to the control of Ukraine.

"I hope that eventually, our partners will move from words to action, and we will solve at least four key issues", - Oleksiy Danylov said.

According to him, Ukraine has fulfilled all the conditions for holding the Normandy format meeting - in particular, the disengagement of forces in three sectors.

According to Danylov, a closed meeting of the NSDC, chaired by the President of Ukraine, will be held in the coming days before a trip to Paris.

Let us recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting in preparation for the Normandy format meeting on December 3, at which five scenarios of reintegration of the occupied Donbass were discussed.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his intention to discuss timing of the return of the eastern border to Ukraine's control at the Normandy format summit in Paris during a joint briefing with the Swedish Prime Minister.
