Zelensky gathers NSDC in anticipation of Normandy format meeting - Avakov

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is convening a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council in preparation for the Normandy format meeting. This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov at the second annual conference of the Ukrainian Association of Representatives of Law Enforcement Bodies, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"I was going to listen to the speeches, but, unfortunately, the president is gathering the NSDC. We are preparing for the Normandy format meeting", - he said.

Avakov also added that a meeting with U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine William Taylor would be held today.

As previously reported, a meeting of heads of the Normandy Four countries - Ukraine, Germany, France and the Russian Federation, is scheduled for December 9 in Paris.
