The practical phase of mine clearance began on the disengagement site in the area of Petrovske and Bohdanivka settlements of the Donetsk oblast. This was reported by head of the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Andriy Aheyev, - UNIAN reports.

"The practical phase of mine clearance began at site No.3 in the vicinity of Bohdanivka and Petrovske settlements today at 12.00", - Aheyev said.

He specified that this process is mirror, Russian-controlled militants are also carrying out demining. "According to the OSCE, the other party is carrying out demining activities as well. It assures that the enemy is also carrying out appropriate measures to demine its part of the site", - Aheyev emphasized.

According to him, in accordance with the approved plan, the schedule for the disengagement of forces and equipment, adopted in Minsk at a meeting of the working subgroup on security issues of the Trilateral Contact Group on October 1, gives up to seven days for mine clearance.

As previously reported, the process of disengagement of forces and means began in Petrovske of the Donetsk oblast on November 9.
