The international group of investigative journalists of Bellingcat has identified the current "names" of two Russian mercenaries and militants of the "LDNR" Igor Bezler and Oleg Ivannikov. This is reported by theBabel with reference to the data of the Bellingcat group.

As reported, Bezler and Ivannikov received fake passports. However, they were not entered into the taxpayer database of Russia – they have no identification number.

According to Bellingcat, Bezler lives with a passport of "Igor Beregovoy", date of birth December 30, 1965, and Ivannikov is now "Andrey Laptev" according to the passport.

"Fake identification data for Laptev and Beregovoy was created in the Russian passport office in Moscow at the same time, as a result of which there is a little difference in the numbers of their passports", – the report says. Bezler's passport number is 4513078492, Ivannikov's number is 4513078464.

According to Bellingcat, Bezler has been in Simferopol since October 2014.

Bezler is on the wanted list in Ukraine. He is suspected of intentional killing activists Yuriy Popravko, Volodymyr Rybak and Ihor Diakivskyi. Ivannikov is a defendant in the investigation of crash of the MH17 Malaysian flight, shot down over the Donbass in 2014. It is reported that both fighters are officers of the Russian military intelligence.

As previously reported, Russian political strategist and former "prime minister" of the "DNR" Alexander Borodai confirmed that the Russian spring in the Donbass was funded from Moscow.
