Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has stated that there would be no sharp increase in teachers' salaries, as this requires more economic growth. He said this on the air of the Freedom of Speech program on ICTV.
"We tried to find the means for raising teachers' salaries to the greatest possible extent. There will be higher salaries, but not the ones we would like. In order to ensure sufficient increases (as our teachers deserve), we need more economic growth. We need the economy to produce more resources, more taxes to be collected", - the prime minister noted.
As previously reported, among the election promises of the Ze-team were promises to increase the teacher's salary up to 4000 euros.
