Zelensky: There are only two conditions for holding Normandy format summit

There are only two conditions for holding the Normandy format summit: this is the approval of the Steinmeier formula and disengagement of troops at three sites in the Donbass. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Segodnya, - UNN reports.

So, answering the question why Moscow is dawdling on the Normandy format meeting again and what conditions it sets this time, Zelensky noted: "We agreed that we should have a meeting when we agree on the text of the so-called Steinmeier formula and when we will have disengagement at three sites".

Zelensky recalled that the disengagement occurred on one site - in Stanytsia Luhanska.

"Now there are preparatory moments for disengagement in Petrovske and Zolote. There is no disengagement there due to the violation of the ceasefire, but I think that everything will happen, and the next step will be a meeting in the Normandy format. I just do not know other information", - Zelensky said.

The report recalls that Zelensky had previously stated that there was one obstacle to the meeting in the Normandy format - the Steinmeier formula. According to Zelensky, "the last obstacles to the Normandy format summit were removed" a meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on October 1, after which it became known that Ukraine had agreed on the text of the Steinmeier formula.
