The arson of house of former head of the National Bank Valeria Gontareva may affect the provision of loan to Ukraine from the International Monetary Fund. This was stated on the sidelines by chairman of the Servant of the People faction Davyd Arakhamia, - RBC-Ukraine reports.

According to him, the Western media covered this event in a negative context for Ukraine. Therefore, this may damage the investment rating of the state.

"I do not know who the instigator is, but it looks strange. Why is it on the day of the IMF's arrival? Is it by chance? Each expert considers it, says that this is not an accident event - on such a day. I think it can affect (the provision of loan from the IMF to Ukraine - ed.)", - Arakhamia stated.

As previously reported, unknown people burned the house of ex-head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva on September 17. The house has completely burned down.
