Unknown people burned the house of ex-head of the National Bank Valeria Gontareva in the village of Horenychi near Kyiv. This was reported to NV by Gontareva herself.

According to her, the attackers threw a Molotov cocktail through the fence. The house has completely burned down. Firefighters did not even manage to put it out.

"This is complete and final chaos! I do not know where to go, the terror continues", – she noted.

Earlier, on August 30, the former head of the NBU reported that she was hit by a car in the center of London. In this regard, she is in the hospital. She underwent one operation, in the coming days, doctors will conduct another. In addition, on the night of September 5, unidentified persons doused with petrol and set fire to a car registered with her daughter-in-law, who is also called Valeria Gontareva.

It became known on the eve of the latest incident that the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, by a decision of August 27, allowed the State Bureau of Investigation to force Gontareva's drive to interrogation in the case of abuse of official position by members of the National Bank's board. The ex-head of the National Bank herself stated that former co-owner of PrivatBank Ihor Kolomoyskyi could be involved in the accident with her participation: "He threatened me all the time. I even gave an interview to BBC that if something happens to me in London, then we need to know who is behind it".
