Ex-deputies of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Vilkul and Dmytro Kolesnikov have been notified of the suspicion of committing a crime, and the search procedure has been launched in relation to them. Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko wrote this on his Facebook.

"Former People's Deputies Vilkul and Kolesnikov were taken under protection by the Regulatory Committee and Verkhovna Rada without giving permission to prosecute. Only after they lost their parliamentary status, they were announced suspicions yesterday and the search procedure started", - he reported.

As reported, Oleksandr Vilkul is charged that being head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, he illegally leased several land plots that were in collective ownership. Dmytro Kolesnikov is suspected of contributing to the illegal alienation of two departments of a defense enterprise being head of the State Property Agency.
