Citizens of the Russian Federation are actively buying tours to Turkey and Egypt in Kiev travel agencies. Representatives of the capital travel agencies informed OstroV about that.
"Russian tourists bypass the recommendation of the Foreign Ministry not to visit Turkey and Egypt. They are still one of the most popular destinations. Russians do not want to deny rest, and they resort to Ukraine", - said the manager of one of the agencies.
According to the travel agency, Russians "get fancy" and come to Kiev mainly through Minsk.
"We safely send them from Kiev to Turkey or Egypt. The prices are the same. Tours are bought easily", - said he to OstroV.
Other tourist agencies confirmed information about availability of tour booking for Russians via Ukraine to Egypt and Turkey.
At the same time Kiev tourist agencies don’t rule out that travelers from the Russian Federation after return to their homeland may face some problems.
"We warn them. But so far it stopped no one. In addition, they are accepted normally in Turkey and in Egypt", - noted one of the Kiev's travel agencies.
As previously reported, on November 8th, the Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on suspending flights from Russia to Egypt in connection with the crash of the Russian airliner A32 of Kogalymavia company over the Sinai Peninsula. Charter flights between Russia and Turkey were banned under the sanctions imposed by Moscow against Ankara.
