Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groisman announced withdrawal of the Samopomich faction from the coalition at the meeting of the parliament. It is reported by UNIAN.

The speaker noted that, "according to the submitted application, I announce cessation of the Samopomich faction participation in the coalition of European Ukraine deputy factions. Thus, the formal coalition no longer exists.

"It’s a pity, but I think we will continue political consultations and find the right way for the country out of this situation", - said Groisman.

As previously reported, Samopomich and Batkivshchyna factions demanded the resignation of the government.

The Verkhovna Rada recognized the work of the government unsatisfactory with 247 votes, but did not support a resolution of no confidence to the Cabinet of Ministers on February 16th.

Batkivshchyna faction announced its withdrawal from the parliamentary coalition on February 17th in connection with the failure to vote for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Samopomich faction announces its withdrawal from the coalition on February 18th. "On the same day, the statement signed by deputies from Samopomoch on withdraw from the coalition was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada administration.
