Newly elected people's deputy from Servant of the People Maksym Buzhanskyi has called journalist of Novoye Vriemia Olha Dukhnych "dopey cow".

"Another dopey cow, presenting herself as journalist of the odious Novoye Vriemia, stated in an interview with representative of Servant of the People that I am nostalgic for the USSR and the "times of Yanukovych". I understand that some colleagues are too restrained to call a spade a spade, so I will help them. Dopey cow from the odious media", - Buzhanskyi wrote on Telegram.

This reaction was triggered by a recent interview of Novoye Vriemia with leader of Servant of the People Dmytro Razumkov, in which journalist Dukhnych said that Buzhanskyi was "nostalgic for the USSR and the times of Viktor Yanukovich".

The Servant of the People party is in no hurry to comment on this situation, and the telephone of the press service is "out of reach". President Volodymyr Zelensky also did not react to this statement of the future deputy.

Volodymyr Zelensky and members of the Servant of the People party previously stood up to protect journalists. For example, in October 2018, Volodymyr Zelensky launched a Facebook flash mob as response to the obscene remarks of the people's deputy from PPB Oleh Barna to the journalist. Barna attacked 1+1 journalist Ihor Koltunov verbally after the question about piano voting.

"It is fair that I am with a return message from all the media, but I cannot send a person off with a flea in the ear. It is just indecent. Then, I think that you guys cannot fit all there. But we found a warm one for you, cozy and safe place. Therefore, "kiss my ass", - Zelensky addressed Barna.

Director general of 1+1, and now the newly elected deputy from Servant of the People, Oleksandr Tkachenko joined the flash mob and even called on the PPB to expel Barna from the party.
