Cabinet of Ministers approves appointment of new heads of regional state administrations in Donbass

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved 8 candidates from President Volodymyr Zelensky for the posts of heads of state administrations. Representative of President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Cabinet of Ministers Andriy Herus told this to journalists, - Ukrainian News reports.

"All 8 questions were supported. The voting was unanimous. Some of today's candidates for deputies, who are also ministers, voted against all submissions", - he said.

Herus noted that the following candidatures for heads of regional state administrations will be submitted by Zelensky to the new government for approval.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko posted a scan of the document, which contains the names of eight candidates, on his Facebook. In particular, it was proposed to appoint Pavlo Kirilenko head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Ihor Bondarenko – head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, Mykhaylo Bno-Airiian –head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Komarnytsky – head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, Markiyan Malsky – head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Andriy Andreychykov – head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Yuriy Husiev – head of the Kherson Regional State Administration and Ihor Shevchenko – head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

As reported, military prosecutor of the Uzhhorod garrison of the Western region of Ukraine Pavlo Kirilenko is candidate for the post of chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The corresponding declaration of the candidate for the post appeared on June 18. Pavlo Kirilenko is registered in Lviv, but actually lives in Uzhhorod. He is married and has two children - a daughter and a son.

Earlier, journalist Serhiy Rudenko wrote on his Facebook that candidate for the post of head of the Luhansk regional civil-military administration, rector of the Luhansk University of Internal Affairs Vitaliy Komarnytsky may be suspected of sympathizing with supporters of illegal armed formations of the "LNR".
