Unknown youths attack participants of film representation in framework of KyivPride

Unidentified persons attacked the participants of film representation as part of KyivPrayda in the premises of the Izoliatsyya platform of cultural initiatives in Kyiv, - Hromadske reports.

As one of the victims of the attack reported, the unidentified people in balaclavas beat people with their feet, used pepper gas and swore.

"It was a frankly homophobic attack, they pushed me down to the ground, kicked me on the head, on my legs, my friends were gassed", - the victim stated.

According to one of the organizers of the event, minors were among the victims. She also reported that "before the entrance, they saw people who were on duty there, waiting for people to begin to disperse".

She added that there were not less than four athletic guys. According to the information, the police and ambulance arrived at the scene.
