The Security Service of Ukraine has built a huge evidence base confirming participation of the Russian military personnel in combat operations against the Ukrainian army in Donbass. This is stated in the press center of the SBU.

"This base is not just evidence of hybrid aggression of Russia, but will also be influential evidence for making court decisions in favor of families affected by the hands of the Kremlin", – it noted.

In addition, head of the department Vasyl Hrytsak published materials proving military presence and crimes on the territory of Ukraine of a off-line unit of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, known as PMC Wagner.

According to the SBU chairman, the investigation reasonably suspects that this private army was involved in the destruction of the IL-76 military aircraft in Luhansk.

"Yesterday, a panel of judges of the Zaporizhia Court of Appeal recognized the death of commander of the Il-76 plane Oleksandr Bily on June 14, 2014 as a consequence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This judicial practice allows families of the Ukrainian military who died defending the Motherland from the aggressor to rely on social protection and international humanitarian assistance", – the SBU noted.
