The requirement to grant autonomous status to the occupied Donbass has disappeared from the appeal of local residents to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, which was inspired by the "DNR" authorities. This follows from comparative analysis of the old and new texts on the website, specially created to simulate the nationwide support for the action "ZelenskyRecognizetheDonbassChoice".

Initially, participants in an improvised flashmob demanded the amnesty for all parties to the conflict, restoration of pension payments, free use of the Russian language, preservation as defenders of illegal armed formations and so on. The main point uniting all the above was the call to Volodymyr Zelensky to present broad autonomy to the occupied territories.

Currently, the text has changed: the requirement for autonomy has disappeared, and instead, the protesters were told to ask the President of Ukraine for special status for Donbass.

Probably, according to the authors of this propaganda event, the "special status" gives the occupied Donbass more freedom than "autonomy". It is not by chance that in the new version of the appeal, a requirement appeared among the requirements to Zelensky to allow CADLO "to integrate into Russia".

As previously reported, the occupation authorities of the "DNR" placed a video clip of a Horlivka schoolgirl on the social network, who allegedly turned to Volodymyr Zelensky on her own initiative to stop the war in the Donbass by granting CADLO "linguistic and economic autonomy", "right to own militia", resumption of payment of pensions and so on.

Similar videos began to appear in support of this appeal, then a special website was created, where everyone willingly voted for the idea of "broad autonomy for Donbass". This project was approved by a number of "DNR" leaders and representatives of the occupation media. The plan to return to Ukraine is presented to the population of the occupied territories as implementation of the Minsk agreements. Allegedly, according to these agreements, the Donbass is finally separated from Ukraine and gets a real opportunity to join Russia.

In reality, the Minsk agreements, first of all, provide for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by providing the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass with the status of "areas with a special order of local self-government". There is no talk about any "autonomy of Donbass". Under all the documents signed in Minsk, there are signatures, including of the puppet "DNR/LNR" leaders. Such concepts like the "DNR" or "LNR", as well as the names of any positions of "heads of republics", do not appear in the Minsk documents at all.
