French President Emmanuel Macron is ready to schedule a meeting in the Normandy format on Donbass as soon as all the political conditions for this will develop. He stated this after the summit of the EU leaders in Brussels, - RBC Ukraine reports citing UrduPoint.

Macron noted that he wants to organize a meeting of the leaders of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine.

"I will organize it as soon as possible, because France has taken this initiative… First of all, it is obvious that the new president of Ukraine wants to organize election in his country. We talked, I will again talk to him soon. We expect to exchange our views again, and perhaps, there will be a visit. As soon as political conditions develop, we will do it", - Macron added.

As previously reported, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian will visit Ukraine on Thursday, May 30. The details of their joint visit have not yet been reported.

In April, the MFA stated that most likely, there will be no meeting of the Normandy Four in June, because Ukraine has elected new president.
