The decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada will be based on the Constitution of Ukraine. This was reported by Andriy Bohdan, legal adviser to Volodymyr Zelensky, - correspondent of OstroVa reports.

"The first paragraph of Article 90 (of the Constitution of Ukraine - OstroV) is the absence of a coalition in the Verkhovna Rada", - Bohdan said, responding to the question of journalists, what reason will be indicated in the presidential decree on dissolution of the parliament.

"The presidential decree cannot be based on any decisions of any judges. In this case, it will be an assessment of the legal situation that has developed in the Verkhovna Rada. This decree will be based solely on the Constitution of Ukraine", - A. Bohdan explained.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his intention to early dissolve the Verkhovna Rada.

Later it became known that early parliamentary election could be held approximately on July 21.
