The "DNR/LNR" leaders Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik have acknowledged that residents of the occupied territory of Donbass, who will receive Russian passports, will not be able to receive Russian pensions without registration in Russia. They told this at a certain "conference on cooperation between the regions of Russia and Donbass", which takes place in Domodedovo (Russian Federation), - TASS reports.

"To get a Russian pension, you need to have a residence permit in the territory of the Russian Federation", - Pushilin said.

His words were confirmed by Pasechnik, specifying that a pension is issued either in the territory of the Russian Federation or in the "DNR" and "LNR" territory, depending on the place of registration of the person.

As previously reported, on April 24, 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree "On the determination of categories of persons entitled to apply for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation under simplified procedure for humanitarian purposes", which simplified the adoption of citizens of Ukraine residing in the occupied Donbass to the Russian citizenship.

Minister of Labor of Russia Maxim Topilin stated that payment of pensions to residents of CADLO with a Russian passport is possible if there is registration in the territory of the Russian Federation. He noted that in order to receive a pension, residents of CADLO, who would receive Russian passport, must also have a registration of their place of residence in the Russian Federation.
