Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin has dismissed Igor Martynov from the "position" of deputy chairman of the "government" from May 15. This is reported in the "decree" posted on Pushilin's website.

The next "decree" of the "DNR" leader appointed Martynov his adviser.

In October 2018, former head of the occupation administration of Donetsk Igor Martynov became "acting deputy chairman" of the "Council of Ministers of the DNR".

Prior to the Russian Spring, Martynov was director of the park of culture and rest named after Shcherbakov. In October 2014, he was appointed "new mayor of Donetsk" by the occupation authorities.

At the same time, Martynov did not hide his principle of "stealing from surplus".

In October 2016, leader of the "DNR" Alexander Zakharchenko (he was killed in the summer of 2018 - ed.) dismissed Igor Martynov from the "position" of "head of administration" of the city of Donetsk and appointed him "deputy head of his own administration" on "social policy issues". "Martynov was appointed to some unimportant post in the administration of the "head of state". He was dismissed because he had higher ratings than Alexander Zakharchenko.
