Vakarchuk announces creation of Holos party

Musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk has announced the creation of Holos political party, with which he will go to the parliamentary election. He stated this on Thursday in Kyiv.

"We are the Holos party, we are going to the parliament to destroy the old policy and create a new policy. A policy that will bring us real changes", - he stated.

He noted that the old policy is a policy owned by the oligarchs.

"Nobody owns us. A new policy is when people's deputies are accountable not to the sponsors, but to the people who elected them", - he believes.

According to him, new policy should put a person with his dignity to the first place. "We must return a person with a capital letter to Ukraine", - he said.

"If the president proposes changes, we will demand even more changes. If the president betrays his voters, we will force him to answer to the voters. We do not need fake changes, we need real changes", - Vakarchuk noted.

He presented Yulia Klimenko, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, Andriy Sharaskin, Solomiya Bobrovska and Yuriy Sokolov among the members of his team.
