Under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detained former head of the National Guard, Yuriy Allerov and two Ukrbud officials. This was stated by deputy head of the SAP Volodymyr Kryvenko, - Ukrayinska Pravda reports.

"Allerov is detained", - he reported, adding that they also detained two Ukrbud officials, who were probably involved in multimillion-dollar frauds, on May 14.

According to Kryvenko, now the question of electing him a preventive measure in the Solomensky court of Kyiv is being resolved, but the date and time of the meeting is not yet available.

It became known on May 14 that the NABU was conducting searches at the place of work and residence of individual officials of the National Guard, as well as in a number of private companies.

As previously reported, the investigation of the program "Our Money with Denis Bihus" referred to the fact that head of the National Guard Yuriy Allerov agreed to change the residential complex for the guardsmen, which is why they received housing in the outskirts of Kyiv. The difference in price, according to journalists, was more than 100 million hryvnia ($3.83 million). The NABU opened criminal proceedings on December 11, 2017. Colonel-General Yuriy Allerov commanded the National Guard of Ukraine from December 30, 2015 to May 7, 2019.
