The miners died in a methane explosion at the Skhidkarbon mini-mine in the occupied part of Luhansk oblast. This was reported in the press service of the "Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LNR".
Local rescuers were unable to conduct a search and rescue operation on their own and turned to Russian experts for help.
The occupation authorities report two dead and fifteen missing miners.
There is information about 17 or 19 dead miners in social networks.
"At the moment, two bodies were raised to the surface. 15 people are still under the rubble. Presumably, no one was left alive. Hope, alas, only for a miracle… The rock collapsed as a result of methane explosion", - Russian propagandist Semion Pegov writes.
