Hospitals in the occupied part of Donetsk oblast are experiencing problems with the supply of medicines and medical products. This is reported by the press service of the so-called "Ministry of Health" of the "DNR" operating in the territory controlled by the militants.

Only one enterprise is engaged in the delivery of medicines to the CADO health care facilities - the Republican Center Drugs of Donbass Trade House.

The Ministry of Health explained that due to the fact that "an active policy of import substitution of medicines for analogues of Russian production is pursued in the territory of the Russian Federation", CADO receives medicines with a delay. In addition, there have been no "humanitarian convoys" from the territory of the Russian Federation since the beginning of 2019, what also significantly complicates situation with the provision of medicines to hospitals in the occupied part of Donetsk region.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health stated that at the moment, health care institutions allegedly "are provided with disinfectants, necessary expendable materials for hemodialysis and specialized baby food in full".
