Volodymyr Zelensky has the biggest support in Donbass (more that Yanukovych) - KIIS survey

The greatest electoral support for presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky is in the Donbass. This is evidenced by the results of sociological study of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, conducted from April 9 to April 14, 2019, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

Among respondents who are going to vote and decided, 91.4% of the Donbass residents are ready to support Volodymyr Zelensky. This result almost repeats the electoral success of Viktor Yanukovych. In 2010, the Donbass native gained 90.44% of votes in the second round of the presidential election in the Donetsk oblast.

Only 4.9% are ready to vote for the current president Petro Poroshenko in the Donbass.

The survey was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from April 9 to April 14, 2019.

On March 31, the first round of the presidential election was held in Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky (30.24%) and Petro Poroshenko (15.95%) left for the second round, which will take place on April 21.

Yulia Tymoshenko won 13.40% of votes, Yuriy Boyko - 11.67%, Anatoliy Hrytsenko - 6.91%, Ihor Smeshko - 6.04%.
