"DNR" states that people will have to give Ukrainian passport back to obtain Russian

The conditions for obtaining Russian passport by residents of the occupied Donbass are availability of a document of the separatist "republics" and refusal of Ukrainian passports. A source close to the leadership of the "DNR" told this to the Russian RBC, commenting on the information on the simplified granting of citizenship to CADLO residents.

According to him, the main conditions for the change of citizenship will be presence of the "LNR" and "DNR" passports and returning of the Ukrainian passport.

In addition, according to the source, Russian passports will be issued to security officers in the occupied territories, civilians will have to go to the Rostov oblast, to Matveyev Kurgan.

He confirmed that information about who has the "DNR" passport and who has not is being collected in the budgetary institutions of the "republics".
