Unknown persons in military uniform tried to ram the OSCE SMM vehicles in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast. This was stated in the mission's report. It was noted that near the occupied settlement of Zaichenko, an unknown vehicle forced two SMM patrols to leave the road under the threat of front collision. An hour later, the same car, in which there were two men in military-type clothing, tried to ram two OSCE SMM vehicles. At the last moment, having already approached the patrol car, the unknown vehicle braked sharply and then left the scene of the incident, - the Mission reported.

Security situation in the Donbass remains volatile, despite the truce announced on March 8. This was stated by head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ertuğrul Apakan, speaking in Vienna. During a briefing for representatives of the OSCE participating states and cooperation partners, Apakan said that the civilian population still has to pay too high a price: this year, incidents involving mines and unexploded ordnance, as well as ceasefire violations, the number of which is constantly changing, have already taken the lives of 20 civilians. In addition, he drew attention to the fact that 16 people, mostly elderly, died of natural causes during the crossing of contact line since the beginning of winter.
