Ukrainian presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky has called on his opponent Petro Poroshenko to take part in the debate at the Olympiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv. This is reported by Radio Liberty.

"I am talking to Petro Poroshenko. You are calling me to have the debates, you have been dreaming I would run away, never reply or hide. But this is not the case. I am not you in 2014. I accept the challenge. Here are my conditions: "I am waiting for you here, at NSC Olympiyskiy. The debate will take place before the people of Ukraine. All channels will have the right to broadcast live", - Zelensky said.

He believes that the candidates should pass a medical examination and prove to the people that there are "neither alcoholics nor drug addicts" among them.

"As a sign of respect for at least a third of the citizens of Ukraine, you should publicly say that the debates will be held with presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky, neither with a puppet of the Kremlin or Kolomoiskyi, nor with an advocate of Russia, or a Little Russian, or one of mediocre people or a clown. You have got 24 hours. Think of it", - Zelensky stated.

The report reminds that on April 1, the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine invited the winners of the first round of presidential elections to participate in the televised debates.
