The Kremlin does not intend to assess the election campaign in Ukraine. This was stated to journalists by press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, - TASS reports.

"It is not our business - to evaluate the election campaign (in Ukraine - ed). This is a deal of Ukrainians", - he said.

Peskov added that the recognition or non-recognition in Moscow of the election results in Ukraine will depend on how they pass.

"I would leave without comment the question of whether the recognition of the illegitimate election results (in Ukraine) is possible (in Moscow). This will also depend on how the election is held. We cannot talk on this, if the election has not yet been held", - he said.

Peskov noted that there would be no Russian observers in the election.

"We can only express regret that several million Ukrainians in our country will be deprived of the right to vote. There are also several million Ukrainians who are rejected in their own country. These are facts that are hard to deny and which, unfortunately, are the sad reality", - Peskov said.

Election of the President of Ukraine will be held on March 31.
