170 people not allowed through checkpoint in Donbass within a week

More than 170 people did not pass through the line of demarcation in Donbass due to the lack of necessary documents over the past week, - the press center of the Joint Forces reports.

It is noted that during the week, all checkpoints on the line of demarcation within the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts operated in a normal mode.

"During this time, 261000 citizens and 32000 vehicles followed through the line of demarcation… 174 people were denied access to the line of contact due to the lack of necessary documents", - the report said.

Also, during the implementation of control and verification measures, border guards at the entry and exit checkpoints identified 24 passport documents of Ukraine with signs of partial forgery and 6 illegal identification documents issued by the Russian occupation administration.

7 citizens were ensured accountability for administrative offenses at checkpoints on the demarcation line, in respect of whom it was established that they crossed the state border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation at inactive checkpoints on the temporarily uncontrolled part of the Russian-Ukrainian border. In addition, 2 foreigners who violated the rules of stay on the territory of Ukraine and 1 citizen who operated the vehicle with a discrepancy of the body number given in the registration document were found.

It is also reported that 5 cases when citizens tried to "agree" on the unhindered crossing of the demarcation line were recorded at the checkpoints. According to these facts, notifications on detection of signs of criminal offenses were sent to the National Police.
